Fiji Airways launched a sale on Friday that includes return flights from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to Nadi for $609, as well as Tokyo return for $949.
The sale airfares are available for travel dates between early May through to March 31, 2025, excluding several blackout dates such as school holidays and the Christmas / New Year period.
The airfares are also subject to availability and some dates may sell out before the sale ends on May 17.
Air New Zealand also services the routes on sale with Fiji Airways, with other airlines also offering competition on some of them.
The advertised sale prices are for 'lite' fares that don't include checked-in baggage, but do offer a meal, beverages and entertainment. The full terms and conditions should be carefully read by any potential customers before they purchase.
Aside from Fiji, none of the flights are direct, as each includes a stopover in Nadi.
