A woman is facing charges of sexual exhibitionism and assault after showing her genitals in front of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre in Paris.
According to reports, Deborah de Robertis shouted "Mona Lisa, my pussy, my copyright" in front of onlookers last weekend.
The Luxembourg national who claims to be a performance artist and photographer, said her "goal" wasn't to show her genitals but simply to copy a photo by an Austrian artist who did similar stunts in the 1970s.
This was not the first act of this kind buy Ms de Robertis, she has in the past faced trial for lying down naked in the Oray Museum in January 2016 and a similar performance in front of the Mona Lisa in April 2017.
Ms de Robertis faces trial for her this particular stunt on October 18.
