A Western Australia man has been confronted with a mystery after discovering a small patch of his lawn was stolen by a Despicable Me minion.
Bradley Nicklen was the victim of the crime, awaking one day in December to discover a patch in his lawn was missing, Australia's GWN7 reports.
Mr Nicklen believes he may have brought the theft upon himself, after boasting about his lawn mowing prowess one on Snapchat.
"I noticed it was done with a shovel, not an animal, so I went through the [CCTV]," he told the West Australian.
The CCTV video clearly shows the minion invading his turf with a shovel and stealing a piece before running away.
Not simply content with theft the minion has continued to taunt Mr Nicklen over social media.
Using a Facebook page under the name "Carl Minion" the alleged perpetrator has shared photos posing with his new patch of lawn as well as video of him watering it.
The mystery was solved on Thursday with Mr Nicklen's friend Alex coming forward and admitting he's the man behind the minion.
Just like Mr Nicklen assumed he saw the Snapchat boasting about the grass and decided to get some for himself.
