A man who planned to rape, behead, and cannibalise a teenage girl in the UK has been taken into US custody after being released from prison early.

Former nurse Dale Bollinger was labelled the 'Canterbury Cannibal' after his plans to eat a 14-year-old girl in Canterbury, England, were discovered.
The 62-year-old was sentenced to nine years in jail in 2014, but was granted early release and deported back to the United States.
On January 4, Bollinger registered as a sex offender in Blair, Nebraska, sending the small town into a panic.
"It's making my heart race," Blair resident Sylvia Kasper told local media. "It's scary considering I have a small daycare, and now I really have to watch and keep doors locked."
On January 12, Bollinger was taken into custody amid community concern, despite not being charged with any crime.
Washington County Sheriff Mike Robinson confirmed Bollinger's detainment, but said he could not elaborate on the case.
In 2014, Bollinger was arrested following sexual grooming, possession and distribution of cannibal-themed child pornography.
He had also tried to poison a former colleague in a failed attempt to sexually assault her.
The married father-of-three had kept his fantasies secret from his wife, instead meeting and converting the like-minded through the online Dark Fetish Network.
Bollinger used the forum to discuss his desire to buy an axe, chop off his victim's head and then eat her.
He also talked about having murdered a five-year-old child and a former colleague.
