A Wisconsin woman has been left with facial injuries after she rode into the cracks of a moving bridge.
The July 4 incident took place when the bridge was in the process of rising to let boats pass underneath.

Signals were in place to warn motorists not to try and cross, but the woman ignored them and even rode into one a barrier arm as she made her way onto the bridge.
She didn't make it very far across, and tumbled into a crack in the bridge with her bike following close behind.
Bystanders ran across the bridge and rescued the woman, pulling her and her bike free from the cracks. The video, released by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation shows her having to be hauled from the crack, barely responsive.
She was taken to hospital and treated for facial injuries and has been fined for failing to obey the stop signal, the Telegraph reports.
