A motorcycle number plate expected to fetch up to AU$1 million is set to spark a bidding war amongst Australian investors as it goes on sale for the first time in 80 years.
The New South Wales '1' plate rarely changes hands or goes on public sale.
In fact, since being first owned in 1918, it's changed hands just a few times in 1935 and 1978 before ending up in the possession of the current anonymous owner.
That owner could be set for a whopping pay day. In 2017 the historic '4' number plate netted AU$2.7 million.
