Thousands of protesters have rallied across the United States as Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford testify on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.
Supporters and opposers of Mr Kavanaugh took to the streets ahead of Thursday's hearing, which could determine the fate of his Supreme Court nomination.

Many supporters of Dr Ford wore black tape across their mouth that read 'Believe Women'.
Mr Kavanaugh is accused of holding his hand over Dr Ford's mouth as he pinned her down to a bed at a high school party in 1982.
Some of is supporters wore t-shirts or displayed signs that read 'Confirm Kavanaugh', or 'Women for Kavanaugh'.
Dr Ford is currently testifying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, with Mr Kavanaugh due to testify following.
