President Donald Trump says he is "bringing out the military" to protect the US border as a caravan of Central American migrants continues through Mexico on their trek to the United States.
"I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency. They will be stopped!" Mr Trump wrote in a post on Twitter.

Mr Trump has repeatedly tweeted in recent days that he has put the military on notice.
A caravan of thousands of people has been moving north through Central America. It started in Honduras and recently reached the Mexico border, with its target being reaching the US.
It's been reported that around 7,500 people are trekking in the caravan.
