Saudi Arabia says it will retaliate against anyone who moves to place political or economic sanctions on the nation over missing journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Saudi state news agency SPA quoted an unnamed senior official as saying the nation would respond with a "bigger one" if any sanctions were placed on them.

"The kingdom affirms its total rejection of any threats or attempts, to undermine it whether through threats to impose economic sanctions or the use political pressure," the source was quoted as saying by SPA.
"The kingdom also affirms that it will respond to any action with a bigger one.
"The Saudi economy has vital and influential roles for the global economy."
Mr Khashoggi, who had criticised the Saudi government in his work, went missing on October 2 after visiting the consulate in Istanbul.
Authorities in Istanbul believe Mr Khashoggi was murdered when he visited the consulate, something Saudi Arabia has dismissed as "lies".
US President Donald Trump has said he would "punish" Saudi Arabia if they were found to have killed Mr Khashoggi.
The Foreign Ministers for the UK, France and Germany have also released a joint statement calling for a credible investigation into the journalist's disappearance to ensure those responsible are held to account.
