Police are looking for the person responsible for a violent road rage incident that took place outside a school in Melbourne.
Terrifying footage of the attack obtained by 7News Melbourne shows the victim - a 38-year-old father - defending himself as the attacker hits him through the driver's door.
The victim was dropping off his children near a school on Carlton Road in Dandenong North on November 14.
In the video, the victim's daughter can be heard wailing in the background as the attacker repeatedly shouts: "Get out of the car!"
The attacker then fled the scene in his white Commodore Sedan.
Police are investigating the case and are appealing for witnesses.
The incident comes after two other Melbourne road rage incidents. Two school teachers and a couple were attacked with a hammer and a baseball bat in separate altercations by the same truck driver, who later pleaded guilty to assault charges.
