A Peru department store is said to have broken a Guinness World Record for creating the largest pair of jeans.
Mall del Sur, a Paris-owned department chain owned by Cencosud, created the massive, 22-storey building-sized pants in conjunction with fashion brand Kansas, UPI reports.
The pants were unveiled at a mall in San Juan de Miraflores.
It took a team of 50 people around six months to put together the final product that measures about 65 metres tall and is 42 metres wide.
Guinness World Records endorsed that the jeans were the largest in the world, UPI reports.
The jeans will remain on display until Sunday, before they will begin to be converted into reusable shopping bags.
