A young whale found dead on a beach in the Philippines had 40kg of plastic bags clogging its stomach.
The juvenile whale was autopsied by marine biologists and volunteers from the D'Bone Collector Museum, a non-governmental museum on the Philippine island of Mindanao.

A post to Facebook on Sunday detailed the teams horrifying discovery.
"40 kilos of plastic bags, including 16 rice sacks, 4 banana plantation style bags and multiple shopping bags," read the post.
"This whale had the most plastic we have ever seen in a whale. It's disgusting.
"Action must be taken by the government against those who continue to treat the waterways and ocean as dumpsters."
Images from the autopsy show piles of rubbish being pulled out of the juvenile Cuvier's beaked whales stomach, and stacked on the table next to it.
South East Asia is one of the worst places in the world for the dumping of single use plastics.
In 2017, a report by Ocean Conservancy stated China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam dump more plastic into the ocean than the rest of the world combined.
