A dingo that attacked two French tourists on Australia's Fraser Island has been euthanised.
The nine-year-old boy and his mother were bitten on the face, legs and arms as they ran back to their car for safety.
They are in a stable condition.
"The mother and child had just exited a vehicle and commenced a walk down the beach when they came across this pack of dingoes," said Queensland Ambulance Service director Michael Augustus.
It's the second attack on Fraser island this year. In January, a six-year-old boy was confronted by a pack of dingos and bitten on the leg on the island as he ran up a sand dune.
