Police launched a search for her car, pulled the 44-year-old woman over and gave her a breath test.
After this returned a positive result she was arrested and taken to a police station where she returned an alleged positive breath analysis reading of 0.314.
Police found she had dropped her two children off at school just moments before her arrest.
The mother has had her licence and car keys confiscated and she will appear in court on April 17. A notification has also been passed onto Family and Community Services.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the woman has apologised and says she's worried about the impact her arrest will have on her children and husband.
