Three mountaineers have been presumed killed in an avalanche in the Canadian Rockies.
Two Austrian climbers and an American have been missing since going to attempt a climb on a remote face of Mt Howse.
Dangerous conditions are preventing a recovery effort, and the weather is expected to stay bad in the coming days.
They were David Lama and Hansjoerg Auer from Austria, and US man Jess Roskelley, clothing company and the trio's sponsor North Face said.

The route they took was rarely attempted, BBC News reported. The avalanche was described by one official as strong enough to destroy a small building.
