LA police arrested a man wearing a clown costume after he led them on a chase across the city.
The chase began before 3pm in Orange County, before eventually ending 56km away in Venice Beach, KTLA reports.

Witnesses were shocked by the chase, where the main participant appeared to stand up and lean out of the black BMW's sun roof throughout the chase.
But what really had people captivated was his green wig and clown mask, which stayed on throughout the pursuit.
The chase ended when the man jumped pout of the car and ran onto Venice Beach. He was arrested by officers as a large crowd of onlookers gathered to film the event on their phones.
It's not yet known what caused his odd behaviour. A woman who was in the car at the time of the chase was not arrested.
