A "huge" spider forced a Queensland woman to reach out for help on social media, with many suggesting she'd be better off burning her house down.
Laree Clarke, from Townsville, posted photos of the massive beast on the Bluewater news Facebook group earlier this week.
It was named "Fluffy" by one commenter, while others were shocked at the sheer size of it.
"Is there anyone that could remove this from my house?? Now!??" Clarke asked.

She posted later to say the large spider had been safely removed.
"Jesus! Tell him to pay rent," one commenter said.
It would have made for a slightly on-edge morning for the woman, who appeared glad to be freed of her jailer.
