A man robbed a bank in the US because he couldn't afford to pay for a wedding ring or the ceremony, which was due to happen the following day.
Heath Bumpous entered the Texas bank on Friday (local time) with a firearm, and demanded money.

Following the robbery, he fled in his vehicle and threw all his clothes out the window, according to local news source KTRE.
Sheriff Woody Wallace said the robber's fiancee later saw surveillance footage of the theft on social media. Immediately recognising the alleged offender to be her soon-to-be husband, she forced him to turn himself in.
After presenting himself to authorities, Bumpous told police about his financial struggles, and that his wedding was the following day, according to local media.
It's unclear how much money he stole, but police said most of it has been recovered.
Bumpous has been booked into jail charged with aggravated robbery, KTRE reports.
Unsurprisingly, the wedding did not take place.
