Two people are in critical condition after another day of violent demonstrations in Hong Kong.
One person was shot and another set on fire during some of the most dramatic scenes in over five months of protests.
Violence on the streets of Hong Kong is spiralling out of control. It's a frightening to-and-fro of rubber bullets, tear gas, fire and water cannons.
Now vehicles too are being weaponised. A police officer has been suspended after riding his motorbike into a crowd of protestors.

But the incident has only fuelled the anger - on both sides.
One man was arguing with protesters when, suddenly, he was doused in a flammable liquid and set on fire.
The heightened violence is a swift response to a deadly show of force by police yesterday.
Two protesters were shot at point-blank range. A 21-year-old who was hit three times in the stomach is still in critical condition.
"We certainly believe our officer did not have bad intentions to hurt anyone," said Chief Superintendent of Police public relations.
Bad intentions or not, protestors have been quick to return fire by setting the CBD ablaze and putting their own safety at risk in the name of democracy and police accountability.
Hong Kong's leader is vowing not to give in to the escalating pressure.
"Violence is not going to give us any solution to the problems Hong Kong is facing," said Carrie Lam.
More than 3,300 people have now been arrested in the anti-government and anti-Beijing protests.
And every day edges them closer to outright anarchy.
