Climate activist Greta Thunberg and famous naturalist Sir David Attenborough have united over their shared passion - the climate crisis.
The pair spoke via video link and it turns out, they are mutually inspired by one another.
Thunberg told Sir David he was the inspiration behind her tireless protests. The teenager told him she found his work "eye-opening".
"That made me open my eyes for, for what was happening with the environment and the climate was, was films and documentaries about the natural world, and what was happening, what was going on," she told Sir David.
"So that has definitely been an eye opener for me and that was what made me realise the situations though. So, thank you for that, because that was what made me decide to do something about it."
The admiration goes both ways, with Sir David telling Thunberg "you have woken up the world".
He says the only reason climate change has been mentioned in the recent British election was due to Thunberg's activism.
But Thunberg says she is baffled by her own influence.
"I don't know why people are listening to me and I don't know how long it will last," she told Sir David.
"I just know that right now people are listening to me, and I need to take, to use that opportunity and to try to get out as much as I can during that time."
