A moving video of an Australian farmer rejoicing in the rain has touched the hearts of Reddit users worldwide.
The footage shows a New South Wales (NSW) farmer, spreading his arms out in happiness as he steps into heavy wind and rain.
The farmer takes off his cap and spins around showing a brown, dry farm.
"Send it down. Let's get wet!
"My cows, here’s some rain to give you some feed," he rejoices.
The post has gained many positive reactions.
"I love how happy he is!" said one Reddit user.
Another said "that's some good fat ass rain too not a mist or a drizzle a straight dummy thicc downpour that could seriously help against the fires (sic).
"Even if it didn't hit them directly soaking the ground and everything on it will make it much harder to burn!"
"Pure joy!!" said another.
Up to 55mm of heavy rain began to fall in NSW and Victoria on Thursday.
But there are fears the weather could cause more problems than it solves.
Experts believe the rain may contaminate Sydney's water supply, while landslides, flash flooding and tree fall are predicted to be potential consequences.
But for now, areas in Australia are experiencing some much-needed rain after its deadly fire season.
