The family of a bullied Australian boy with dwarfism says they will donate crowdfunded cash to charity.
More than $700,000 has been raised to send Quaden Bayles to Disneyland after his mother Yarraka posted a video to social media showing him completely distraught after being bullied at school.
Since then, the nine-year-old has become a global sensation.
But his family says they will decline the crowdfunded money because they want it to go to charities that need it.
"As much as we want to go to Disneyland, I think our community would far off benefit [more] from that," mum Yarraka told National Indigenous Television News.
"We need to come together and work out how to make sure young people like Quaden don't have to deal with what they have been dealing with."
Comedian Brad Williams originally set up the GoFundMe page for the Disneyland trip. He was one of the many celebrities to reach out after his mum posted the video of her traumatised son.
At the weekend, Quaden led rugby league's Indigenous All Stars onto the Gold Coast's Cbus Super Stadium.
He was invited by Rabbitohs star Lattrell Mitchell.
