A five-year-old child is among the UK's latest COVID-19 victims, according to officials.
The child had underlying health conditions, Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove confirmed at the government's daily briefing on Saturday.
"Our thoughts today are also with the family of the five-year-old with underlying health conditions who has tragically died," he said.
According to the latest figures available on Johns Hopkins University's live tracker, 4313 people have died from the virus in the UK, with 42,449 confirmed cases. Recoveries stand at 215 as of Saturday (UK time).
The current death toll is up by 708 on Friday's figure.
Hundreds of ventilators are being manufactured and sourced from overseas as the UK grapples to contain the virus. Residents are being warned to remain at home.
"The sun might be out, but that does not mean you should be out," NHS England medical director Stephen Powis said, as reported by the BBC.
Powis said the UK's latest data suggests new cases have started to "stabilise", but stressed there is "no room for complacency".
According to the latest briefing, seven healthcare workers have died due to the virus.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson remains in self-isolation at his Downing Street residence after testing positive for COVID-19. Several other high-profile names in the UK have contracted the virus, including Prince Charles, Luther actor Idris Elba and numerous sporting stars.
In New Zealand, officials confirmed there are 82 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the country's total to 950.
Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield told reporters 52 of the new cases are confirmed, while 30 are probable.
