The man who filmed Georgia man Ahmaud Arbery being shot and killed in broad daylight has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
William 'Roddie' Bryan, 50, was arrested on Thursday - almost three months to the day since Arbery was killed. He is the third man to be arrested following father and son duo George and Travis McMichael.
Video filmed by Bryan shows Arbery jogging through his neighbourhood of Brunswick. The 25-year-old then swerves around a white pickup truck - 64-year-old George McMichael can be seen standing in the bed of the truck.
There is a brief scuffle between Travis, 34, and Arbery beside the truck before three shots ring out and Arbery falls motionless to the ground.
The McMichaels say Bryan had helped them try and confront Arbery earlier as they believed the young African-American man was a suspect in a burglary nearby.
However Bryan's lawyer Kevin Gough says Bryan was present and filming at the scene because he saw "a person he did not know being chased by a vehicle he recognised from his neighbourhood".
Bryan told CNN he prays for Arbery's family every night and hopes his video of Arbery's death being killed "brings some justice and peace" to them in the end.
However the attorneys representing the Arbery family said they called for Bryan's arrest from the moment his video was leaked online in May.
"His involvement in the murder of Mr. Arbery was obvious to us, to many around the country and after their thorough investigation, it was clear to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation as well," said S. Lee Merritt, Benjamin Crump, and L. Chris Stewart in a statement to CNN.
Bryan will be held in the same jail as the McMichaels as they await trial.
