A woman has been filmed getting slapped across the face after saying racist comments to another woman in a store in Arizona.
The scrap went down in a Shell petrol station in Phoenix after an older woman came inside to yell at an employee because the petrol pump was not working.
In the video, filmed by a bystander, the older woman dubbed 'Karen' by the person filming can be heard getting into a fight with a younger woman who stood up for the worker.
'Karen' then turned her attention to the younger woman, insisting she should not be served and telling her to "go back to her country", asking "where are you from? Where were you born? You're going back to Mexico".
The younger woman replied saying "where are your ancestors from? They're not from this country".
The situation escalated when 'Karen' grabbed the younger woman's arm. The younger woman retaliated and slapped her across the face.
The women then angrily stormed out of the shop uttering an "oh my god" as she left.
The video, which was uploaded to Facebook by bystander Greg Conn, quickly went viral.
There has been an overwhelming response to the video, with over 7000 comments.
Wendell Phillips, who left a comment, said "When white privilege goes horribly wrong!!"
While another Facebook user, Scott Tarr, weighed in with his two cents stating "Classic Karen. Classic. Almost Oscar worthy. I'm surprised there weren't crocodile tears".
In the video,'Karen' also tried to have a go at Greg stating "you're not a part of this" when she saw he was filming.
The name Karen has become a term used to describe a person acting out of turn or making unnecessary demands.
