US President Donald Trump has addressed the US after days of riots and demonstrations following the death of George Floyd.
Floyd, an unarmed African-American man, died while being pinned to the ground by the neck by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Footage of the incident has sparked both peaceful protests over police brutality as well as violence and looting.
Trump has been accused of fanning the flames with a series of incendiary tweets - including writing "when the looting starts, the shooting starts".
As Trump prepared to deliver his speech, the sound of explosions could be heard in the background as protesters clashed with police.
