A police officer in the US has been rushed to hospital after being run over by a car during a protest.
A video posted to Twitter shows police officers and military personnel gathered in a street in Buffalo, New York on Monday night (local time). The group jumps out of the way as a car then ploughs through the crowd and drives down the street.
Police officers are seen attending to the injured officer.
The officers and military personnel were policing the riots, which erupted after US man George Floyd died while being arrested.
