Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for helping to broker a deal between the UAE and Israel.
Trump was nominated by Norwegian lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde, the second time he's put the US President forward for the award.
"It is for his contribution for peace between Israel and the UAE," said Tybring-Gjedde, an MP for Norway's right-wing Progress Party. "It is a unique deal," he told Reuters.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has been ranked as one of the top three candidates to win the prize.
Ardern was also considered for the prize last year - named a favourite by Time Magazine for her response to the Christchurch terror attacks. She missed out on the award to Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
Is Trump or Ardern more deserving of this year's Nobel Peace Prize? Have your say below.
