An appeal for information has been made by police in the UK after reports a masked prowler was caught spying on a Somerset couple earlier this month.
And locals from the village of Claverham fear it's the return of the 'Somerset Gimp' - a man dressed in a full latex suit who terrorised residents two years ago. He petrified a villager by running at her in a full gimp suit in 2019.
"I've got older children and even my kids are saying 'it's the gimp man again,'" one unnamed villager told the BBC.
"They're really freaked out by it," she said.
The BBC reported that emergency services were called to reports of the prowler in Claverham at 12:15am on September 1 but couldn't locate the alleged offender.
Police aren't ruling out a link to the 2019 incident and have asked residents who may have seen anything suspicious on the night to get in touch, the national broadcaster said.
No one was charged over the incident two years ago.
