Australian Police have seized CCTV vision that could have captured four-year-old Cleo Smith being abducted.
Cleo has not been seen since the early hours of October 16, where she had been camping with her parents and baby sister at Blowholes campground, a tourist hotspot about 70km from Carnarvon in Western Australia.
The CCTV footage, which was seized from a home on a highway in the state, shows a sedan driving down a highway near the campsite where Cleo went missing from within the timeframe she may have been taken.
The development comes as her parents issue a televised plea to the person who kidnapped her.
"If you know anything, anything at all, we want our daughter back," her mum, Ellie Smith, says.
"We have hope that our girl is there somewhere, but we don't have any leads."
There is a $1 million reward for anyone who may know where Cleo is, which has attracted bounty hunters who've joined the search.
Some believe that whoever took Cleo is a person known to her.
Her parents gave Cleo a message: "I love you, we miss you, and we want you home."
During the weekend, Detective Superintendent Rob Wilde, who is leading the investigation, said it's unlikely the person who took the four-year-old has crossed the border into another state.
"It's always possible but it's more likely that if someone has taken Cleo that they would still be within Western Australia," he said.
"If they had crossed the border, it would imply that someone from the eastern states had committed the offence, when it's more likely that - if that is what's happened - the offender would be from here."
Even though he believes Cleo is still in Western Australia, Supt Wilde has alerted all jurisdictions across the country to ensure the little girl doesn't slip through the cracks.
"Photos, posters and descriptions of Cleo have been publicised nationwide, but there are no leads or credible sightings to indicate she has been taken interstate."
