Prince William and Prince Harry appear to be mending their relationship before the Queen's jubilee celebrations next week, reports say.
A source close to the family told the Mirror the pair have been messaging regularly on Whatsapp and FaceTiming each other weekly before they meet again next week for the Queen's jubilee.
According to the source, William reached out to his brother first by messaging him on Whatsapp.
But William and Harry's wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, have decided to stay out of their husband's calls, to allow the brothers to mend their relationship properly, the source added.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royals abruptly in 2020 and moved to California.
"The brothers needed time for everything to settle down. The family, including William, had been disappointed in the way Harry and Meghan chose to leave the royal family," the source said.
By keeping in contact regularly online and showing their children via FaceTime to each other, they have reportedly been able to work things out.
"It seems that the two of them have healed the rift and are very much back on their old buddy terms," a source said.
Harry and Meghan are expected to fly to the UK on Monday night (local time) along with their children Archie and Lilibet.
The Queen is expected to spend time with her great-granddaughter, who she has not met yet.
The Queen's jubilee celebrations are set to run from Thursday to Sunday.
