An awkward and uneasy Russian President has been captured on camera as he waited a painful 48-seconds to meet with a world leader.
In a video shared on Twitter President Vladimir Putin walked into a room lined with cameras as he met with Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
Putin walked in with a confident stride before standing in front of his country's flag, but that confidence quickly fell apart when Erdogan was nowhere to be seen.
Seconds passed and it appeared Putin didn't know what to do with himself apart from appreciating the flower arrangement placed on a table between two chairs.
As more time passed the President swung side-to-side, and pursed his lips while lightly gripping his hands in front of him.
And finally, after 48-seconds of awkward silence, Erdogan arrived which was met with a relieved-looking Putin.
Some Twitter users are suggesting Erdogan's delayed arrival is payback after Putin left the Turkish President waiting two minutes before meeting with him in 2020.
"Talk about humiliating," one user said.
"My husband when he's waiting for me to get in the car."
"Amount of times he did this to other leaders...Glad Erdogan gave him a taste of his medicine, intentionally or unintentionally," said another.
