Three alleged members of the Mongrel Mob gang have been charged with kidnapping in Sydney.
Early on Thursday morning (local time), police raptor squad officers raided homes in four suburbs in Sydney's southwest.
Police seized a black and silver motorbike, a blacked-out ute, motorbike vests and gang paraphernalia.
A 30-year-old and a 32-year-old who allegedly had ties to the New Zealand gang were arrested and a third man was served a notice to appear in court over his alleged role in the kidnapping.
The 30-year-old man was charged with taking a person with intent to hold them to ransom and knowingly directing a criminal group. He also faces charges over his alleged involvement in a shooting in August.
The 32-year-old man was charged with knowingly directing the activities of a criminal group, conspiracy to take a person with the intent to hold to ransom and intending to disrupt investigations of serious offences, Daily Mail Australia reported.
Daily Mail Australia reported a police source said the kidnapping charges are supposedly linked to a 21-year-old allegedly being taken from his Bankstown home and taken on a "drive" before being dropped back home.
The 30-year-old man will face court in November while the 32-year-old will front court on Friday. They've both been refused bail.
