A Colorado teenager has been found safe and well after going missing for 10 days.

On Monday (local time), Chloe Campbell was found at a house in Thornton, Colorado, according to Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold.

New York Post reported the cops thought the 14-year-old ran away from home but are investigating where she was and what happened to her during the time she was missing.

Before Campbell was found, her parents received a disturbing photo of their daughter looking "injured and unwell" from someone anonymous which made them concerned for her safety.

When she was found the teenager had no visible injuries.

According to the New York Post, Boulder Deputy Police Chief Stephen Redfearn said police have no evidence to support the claim that Campbell was in harm's way.

"We have no belief at this time that she was held against her will."

He added it was too early in the investigation to say if there was anyone involved in relation to the teenager's disappearance.

The 14-year-old's father told CBS News earlier his daughter was last seen with two guys.

"She was described by eyewitnesses as being with two men - older men, too old to be in high school."

Redfearn said the two men reportedly last seen with Campbell near Boulder High School are not believed to have been involved in her running away, New York Post reported.
