A fisherman has wrangled a gigantic goldfish into his net after fishing in France.
Andy Hackett, from Worcestershire, England, was on a fishing trip at Bluewater Lake in the Champagne region when he spotted the fish known commonly as "The Carrot".
Hackett said the fish was easy to see due to its striking hue, but it was hard to catch.
"You struggle to see them if they're just under the surface, but The Carrot is obviously bright orange, so you can't miss it," Hackett told the BBC.
"[But] it's a much sought-after fish, not many people have caught it, it's quite elusive."
The BBC reported the goldfish was put into the lake in France around 20 years ago to see if it would grow - and it has proven to be elusive to catch for years.
Hackett said the fish was a combination of a leather carp and a koi carp fish.
It took Hackett around 25 minutes to capture the fish and weigh it.
Hackett said the fish weighed a "whopping" 30 kilograms.
The gigantic goldfish was put back into the lake so someone else can have a turn at trying to catch it.
