The Samoa Islands region has been rattled by a 6.7 magnitude earthquake on Monday morning.
Tsunami watches for American Samoa and Samoa have both been cancelled.
The quake was 36km deep.
A spokesperson for the National Emergency Management Agency told Newshub there is "no threat to New Zealand".
The Samoa Observer reports buildings shaking, with no reports of significant damage or injuries so far.
The National Weather Service Guam says the quake poses no tsunami threat to Marianas, Palau, Micronesia or Marshalls.
