Video footage captures the moment an enraged boatie towed a vehicle blocking a park at a Gold Coast boat ramp.
The video, reportedly filmed at Jacob Wells boat ramp on Saturday and shared by Landos Down Under on Facebook, shows a white four-wheel-drive vehicle pulling a white sedan through a carpark with tyres heard screeching.
A rope attaches the car to the four-wheel-drive, which pulls the driverless vehicle out of the car park and onto a nearby road.
The moment of "ramp rage", as one local put it, happened after the sedan was pictured boxing in the four-wheel-drive and its trailer.
7News reported that locals said there are frequently issues at the boat ramp with not enough parks. New signage reportedly warns drivers of a fine for parking single vehicles in trailer bays.
Others the media outlet spoke to praised the boatie for moving the car.
“Someone get that man a beer,” one user said.
“Cars parking in the boat/jet ski trailer parking area are a menace,” another person added.
Some, however, were confused why the boatie did it, as he had actually been able to get his car out of his park.
"So he got his car out, then went back and towed it. Strange."
