Five people have been killed and many others injured after a car crashed into the beer garden of a pub in Victoria, Australia.
Just after 6pm on Sunday (local time), the car crashed into the Royal Hotel in the town of Daylesford and hit customers.
Two men, a woman and a six-year-old boy died at the scene while a girl, believed to be a teenager, later died in the hospital.
Several other people were injured including a child who is fighting for their life in hospital. A man, woman and child were also hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash. The 66-year-old driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A witness said she ran over to help after the BMW mounted the curb and ploughed into the pub.
"Everybody that was out went to help and unfortunately a lot of people have been killed and it actually does look like a warzone basically," she said.
