A child has been injured after he was hit by a car on his way to school this morning in Sydney, Australia.
The 11-year-old boy was struck at the intersection of Forest Way and Wyatt Ave in Belrose about 8am Friday (local time), local media outlets reported.
It is believed an SUV hit the child while he was waiting at a set of traffic lights.
The boy was treated for a serious leg injury by paramedics at the scene before being transported to hospital.
Police said they are investigating the crash.
