An alleged burglar has been caught on CCTV stretching outside a bakery before breaking in and stealing several items, including croissants.
Police have charged a 44-year-old Melbourne woman after Phillippa's Bakery on North Street in Richmond was broken into around 3am on Sunday, according to 9 News.
The bakery has shared CCTV footage of the woman, dressed in all black, limbering up before the break-in.
She completes several stretches, before allegedly going after tasty treats.
"We were quite surprised when we saw the security footage from a recent break-in at our Bakery HQ," Phillippa's Bakery said on Instagram, "a few things were stolen including some croissants which were clearly too tempting for this flexible burglar."
"Seems like yoga is a must before breaking in."
The post has received thousands of views and more than 80 comments, with some theorising that perhaps the alleged thief was "working off the calories of the croissant before stealing them".
Another said "look out James Bond".
9 News reports the woman has been charged with theft, burglary and going equipped to steal.
She has been bailed to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court in May.
