A policeman has been taken to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed in the head by a knife-wielding man in Sydney's CBD.
Police confirmed an incident took place at Elizabeth St on Sunday, but told the ABC there was no ongoing threat to the public.
A 33-year-old has been arrested and taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for assessment.
Meanwhile, the injured cop has been taken to St Vincent's Hospital after he was treated for non-life-threatening head injuries at the scene.
