The Dalai Lama has concluded his political rounds by attending a meeting with the Green Party.
The Tibetan Buddhist met with New Zealand First leader Winston Peters this morning, the National leader John Key.
He has also met with the entire Green caucus and spoke about the situation in Tibet, his concerns about the environment, his happy memories of Chairman Mao and the political atmosphere in China.
And he had a special request for the Green MPs.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is sticking to her guns not to meet the Dalai Lama, saying it is not a high priority for her and has nothing to do with pressure from China.
Listen to RadioLIVE's the World at Noon presenter James Coleman's full interview with Green co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons.
