Millie Elder, the daughter of high profile broadcaster Paul Holmes, has been arrested on a serious drug charge.
Auckland City police spokeswoman Noreen Hegarty confirmed to NZPA a 20-year-old female and a 20-year-old male were arrested in an inner city apartment yesterday afternoon.
Elder, and the man who is understood to be her flatmate, appeared in the Auckland District Court today, jointly charged with possession for supply of the class A drug methamphetamine.
The pair spent last night in police custody.
They have both been remanded on bail to appear at a pre-depositions hearing in less than two weeks.
