Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce from Kanye West after seven years of marriage, according to a court representative.
The reality television star and rapper got married in 2014, and have four children together.
Representatives for Los Angeles Superior Court and for Kardashian told Reuters she had filed the divorce papers.
But Kanye West is "not doing well" with the divorce and is struggling as reality kicks him, sources told People magazine.
"Kayne is not doing well," a source close to the rapper said.
"He is anxious and very sad. He knows that the marriage is over, and there's nothing that can be done right now. He also knows what he is losing in Kim."
The pair have had a rocky relationship and, according to sources, 2020 proved to be a trying year.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four kids.
Sources told TMZ West is fine with the joint custody arrangement and the pair are committed to co-parenting together.
In October 2020, the rapper gave his wife an unexpected, and rather bizarre present, for her 40th present. The 40-year-old shared a video of her late father Robert Kardashian in a 3D hologram form.
"Thank you so much Kanye for this memory that will last a lifetime," she posted on Twitter.
The two-and-a-half minute video showed late Robert Kardashian speaking to her.
"Happy birthday Kimberly," he said. "Look at you, you're 40 and all grown up. You look beautiful just like when you were a little girl."
He then went on to say: "You married the most, most, most, most GENIUS man in the world, Kanye West."
