British singer Harry Styles was forced to briefly stop a New York gig after fans pelted him with chicken nuggets.
Footage from a performance during Styles' residence at Madison Square Garden shows Styles handling one of the nuggies, holding it aloft, and asking the crowd, "Who threw the chicken nugget?"
The Harry's House singer said it was a "very interesting approach" and seconds later, another one landed on the stage next to him.
The crowd decided to see if they could get the singer to eat the chicken snack, beginning a chant of, "Eat it!" according to a video shared online.
"I don't eat chicken, sorry! I don't eat meat," said Styles.
"First of all, this is cold. And I'm assuming very old."
Styles then asked if whoever had thrown it on-stage wanted it back.
"Why? Because! Don't eat it," he said as he threw the chicken back into the crowd.
"Now it's on the floor. Don't go looking for it, we'll get you another nugget."
Styles hasn't just had nuggets this week.
The 'Watermelon Sugar' singer also won best album at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (NZ time).
