Two Married at First Sight Australia couples have called it quits within hours of each other on Tuesday (local time).
Couples Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie and Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos were on season nine of the show, with Frazer quickly gaining notoriety for her clashes with fellow bride Domenica Calarco.
Holmes said on Instagram he'd been bombarded with messages about the status of his relationship with Carolina and had decided now was the right time to address the speculation.
"I think it's been obvious for a while we have gone our separate ways. There's no right way to deal with these situations," he said.
"I wish Carolina all the best and I know she feels the same for me. We had a very unique experience together full of every emotion possible, but life just has a different plan for us."
His comments came after his former wife Santos had already hinted the relationship was over one week ago, saying on Instagram: "Smile and no one will see how broken you are inside" while sharing a bikini selfie.
Meanwhile, Frazer told her online followers that she and Lonie had gone their separate ways after 10 months together.
"After a wonderful 10 months together we have decided to go our separate ways," she said.
"There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship.
"We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship. Simply a case of 'almost perfect'.
"We hope you all can please show compassion as we navigate this privately," she said on Instagram.
In March, viewers called for Frazer, a teaching student from New South Wales, to be punished for distributing a naked photo of makeup artist Calarco from an inactive OnlyFans account during their feud, calling the incident "revenge porn".
