McLeod's Daughters actor Marshall Napier has died aged 70.
The New Zealand-born star passed away on Sunday "after a short and intense battle with brain cancer", according to his daughter, who announced the death on social media.
Napier was known for his role as Harry Ryan on McLeod's Daughters, a part he played for five years from 2001.
Napier also gained fame as the chairman of the judges in the family movie Babe, about a pig who thought he was a sheepdog.
His daughter, Jessica Napier, who acted alongside him on the show, spoke of her grief on Instagram.
"It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my beautiful dad Marshall Napier. After a short and intense battle with brain cancer he left us this morning. He was peaceful and surrounded by family.
"Dad you are one of a kind and I can't even understand what the world will be like without you in it.
"Your charisma and charm was second to none. Your creativity and intellect was my inspiration. I love you so much and feel completely lost without you. I'm glad that you can soar free of the pain and confusion. Love you always, Dinky xxxx."
Among those paying tribute was New Zealand actor and Packed to the Rafters star Erik Thomson.
"Oh dearest Jess, I am so sorry. What a man. This is big.
"He was such an inspiration to so many. Please wrap yourself and your family in a massive hug from us. V sad," Thomson concluded.
