Taika Waititi has spent his 47th birthday with rumoured new wife Rita Ora and fellow filmmaker James Cameron in Wellington.
Posting on social media on Wednesday afternoon, Ora shared a shot of Waititi with his arm around the Avatar director.
It was rumoured the newly-wedded pair had flown into New Zealand on Monday. Waititi is believed to be in Wellington to begin work on his version of the Terry Gilliam film, The Time Bandits.
Producer of the Avatar films Jon Landau tweeted a picture of Cameron and Waititi together, in which he thanked Jemaine Clement "for bringing these two together for a birthday introduction in New Zealand".
Cameron's birthday is August 16, 1954 - 21 years before Waititi was born.
The long-awaited Avatar sequel Avatar: The Way of Water is due in cinemas December 16 after being delayed several times following the record-breaking release of the 2009 original.
Ora also shared a picture of Waititi clearly wearing a wedding ring inside a cafe, which she simply captioned "Birthday boy" with a heart emoji.
There's been speculation the pair wed in early August.
Ora's sister Elena shared a picture of Waititi in which he was seen wearing a wedding ring and enjoying a drink while in a casual shirt.
Ora and Waititi started dating 18 months ago before they were believed to have gotten engaged in June this year.
