'Solar Power' singer Lorde will headline Christchurch's Electric Avenue festival in 2023.
Joining her at the event at Hagley Park on February 25 will be artists including Flume and L.A.B., while the Synthony show will also be making its debut festival appearance.
Over 30,000 people are expected to attend the show, which will house close to 50 artists performing across five stages.
There will also be a new 10,000 capacity temporary indoor arena in what will be the eighth Electric Avenue.
Also named in the first announcement are Kiwi acts Fat Freddy's Drop, Supergroove and Teeks, as well as a number of other international artists including Peking Duk and Future Islands.
Organisers say a UK drum & bass headlining artist will be announced in November.
Electric Avenue is the only full festival appearance in New Zealand currently planned by Lorde and is part of a world tour promoting her Solar Power album released last year.
After being forced to cancel the event earlier this year, festival promoters Team Event say they are excited with their expanded plans for next summer.
"It's great to be back with what is by far our strongest line-up to date, and a real privilege to be able to have artists of the calibre of Lorde and Flume on the program," says festival director Callam Mitchell.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, October 13 from 9am.
