Sir Peter Jackson and Parris Goebel have won early Emmy Awards.
The pair were up for separate projects at the Creative Emmy Awards, which were held in Los Angeles.
Jackson was up for Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Programme for his Disney+ documentary The Beatles: Get Back.
His rivals for the honour included Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio for George Carlin's American Dream, Amy Poehler for Lucy and Desi, W. Kamau Bell for We Need to Talk About Cosby, and Andrew Rossi for The Andy Warhol Diaries.
Jackson's eight-hour documentary had a clean sweep, winning all five categories it was nominated for.
It took home Outstanding Series, Directing, Picture Editing, Sound Editing, and Sound Mixing.
"[Let It Be director] Michael Lindsay-Hogg shot all this footage in 1969. I was an eight year old in New Zealand, a Boy Scout wearing short pants," Jackson said, "and for reasons I don't quite understand, 50 years later The Beatles entrusted me to take the footage and make a film. But to be a tiny part of The Beatles' story was a dream come true for that eight year old kid. So thank you so much."
Meanwhile, New Zealand dancer and choreographer Parris Goebel took home a creative Emmy for her work on the Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 3 - the debut of Rihanna's latest Savage X Fenty collection with an immersive fashion experience.
Goebel won the award for Best Choreography for Variety / Reality Programming for the show, which is on Prime Video.
It marks her third nomination and first win.
Posting on her Instagram, Goebel revealed she'd been involved in a "terrible car accident" a week into creating the show.
"This moment meant more to me than anyone could imagine.
"A week into creating this show I was in a terrible car accident. I went straight back into rehearsal the next day even though I could barely move. Whilst trying to dance and create I was in excruciating pain, holding back tears as I moved, but nothing was going to stop me from finishing the show. Not only did I finish the @savagexfenty show, but last night I won an Emmy for it.
"As I left the stage I bursted into tears as I remembered how hard I worked and how much physical and emotional pain I had to push past to complete the show's choreography. As you climb the mountain of your dreams, you will be greatly challenged…but your passion, strength and LOVE for what you do will override anything standing in your way. I am so honored and I will continue to dedicate my life to this art form for as long as I live.
"Thank you @badgalriri for trusting me and believing in me. Thank you to the incredible dancers and @dianamatos @cullenneale @elvis_lopeti - I couldn't have done it without you all. I've practised my speech for this since I was a little girl. Dreams do come true!!!" Goebel ended her post.
